THE GLASS ROOM
As part of their mission to champion a healthy Internet, Mozilla wanted to bring online privacy awareness to the mainstream. Partnering with Tactical Tech Collective, we created a tech store that, instead of products, housed art exposing truths about our online fragility.
STRATEGY & CONCEPT DEV FOR MOZILLA
THE ARTISTS: 54 thought-provoking artworks from 17 artists, each a tangible exhibit educating people about their use of technology.
THE VISITORS: Over the course of three weeks The Glass Room had 10K visitors in NYC, and 46K people worldwide joining daily virtual walkthroughts.
PUBLIC DATA DETOX: Aside from the exhibit, people could further educate themselves by picking up a Detox Kit at our Data Detox Bar or join one of the 40 classes hosted at the space, together with guest speakers like Baratunde Thurston.
PROMOTION: Our pre-promotion exposed vulnerable truths about real New Yorkers. On opening night over 500 people waited in the rain to get inside.
